United as one.
Stunning panel with a sleek composition of planes and lines which prominently features the three primary colours (red, yellow and blue) in combination with shades of black, grey and white. The 'stained glass window' is mostly abstract but still slightly figurative with some shapes that are recognisable.
This piece of glass art is based on De Stijl (a Dutch art movement that took place between 1917 - 1931). The members strove to create a pure design by adhering to simplicity, abstraction and the use of primary colours. Famous artists of De Stijl movement were, among others, Gerrit Rietveld and Piet Mondrian.
The design of this panel is attributed to Kees Kuiler
