An impressive tapestry that carries a great deal of symbolic meaning. The main shapes are woven in gold thread (lurex) and they are set off against the background's warm colours.

"The Gold Tree of Life" by Gustav Klimt (1862-1918) is inspired on Egyptian motifs which used to stand for 'expectations' and 'fulfillment' and served as an eye catcher. The abstract framework is a geometric representation of the tree.

The original of this wonderful mosaic was used as a decoration for Stoclet palace's dining room in Brussel (1905-1911)

Fabric: 92% viscose-6%polyester-2%polyamide.

The backside is lined with beige cotton and it has a tunnel so it can easily be hung on the wall.
