Now available: white fixtures! Tiffany glass shades are often seen with dark fixtures in black or bronze. This usually creates a classic look. When a Tiffany glass shade is combined with a soft white fixture, you get a RETRO look.
With the Coloured by Art© series from Art Deco Trade, they have dared to think outside the box and not only made the Tiffany glass shades spectacularly different, but also the fixtures. The Tiffany shades in various colours are handcrafted. Combined with a dark bronze fixture, they look more antique. Now the fixtures are also available in white. A lamp holder in white offers a sleek, modern look. Not super modern, but definitely not old-fashioned.
Flower power was an artistic youth culture in the United States in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The flower power movement only really took off when The Beatles identified with it.

Creativity was highly valued: flowers in the hair and colourful clothing with lots of stylised floral shapes. The same motifs could also be found in interior design. Flower power and hippies are often mentioned in the same breath. The hippies protested against the war (Vietnam), hunger and poverty in the world and also believed that humans should live in harmony with nature.
Organic elements in the form of glass flowers in pastel shades or bright colours, a beautiful retro style that refers to a special period of the last century. See the Coloured by Art© collection! The lamps are striking, lovely to look at, but have a modern look.
