Woven tapestry.
"The Gold Tree of Life" by Gustav Klimt (1862-1918) is inspired by Egyptian motifs which used to stand for 'expectations' and 'fulfilment' and served as an eye catcher. The abstract framework is a geometric representation of the tree.
Fabric: 55% cotton - 45% polyester
The original of this wonderful mosaic was used as a decoration for Stoclet palace's dining room in Brussel (1905-1911)
The backside is lined with beige cotton and it has a tunnel so it can easily be hung on the wall.
