Glass Vase Dragonfly and Lotus

A warm summer evening, the dragonflies fly around and land on the beautiful lotus flowers.

The rich color shades and romantic shapes on the vase make it a real eye-catcher in your interior! For example in the window on a windowsill: when the light shines through the vase, a beautiful effect is created.

The satin finish of the vase is thanks to a process by the French glassmaker and furniture designer Émile Gallé. Applied glass contains an etched representation with different colors between two layers. This is applied with a special paint. After immersing the image in acid, the second layer of color can be 'etched away'. This process can be further repeated until the third color layer.
