This set is designed by architect Josef Hoffmann (1870-1956).
Its construction (black stained with obvious knowledge of and feel for Japanese art), the wooden connections and arched forms are typical of Hoffmann's stylistic features.
It will be delivered with two armchairs and one coffee table.
The chairs are lined with a refined striped fabric and their main colour is olive green. The foot of the table is framed by a chrome edge and the tabletop is covered by a decorative fabric on which a glass plate is placed.
The set could be interesting as a separate seat in, for instance, a study/music/meeting room or it could serve as a dining room seat. Enjoy these pieces of furniture with a cup of tea or a glass of wine!

These pieces were designed specifically for the famous Design/wonder cabaret "Fledermaus" which took place in Vianna in 1907. Fritz Waerndorfer was a gentleman with a lot of money and good taste and he ordered the Wiener Werkstätte to build a cabaret. Furniture designers, ceramists, silversmiths, lamp designers and graphic artists all worked together to create the untraditional Gesamtkunstwerk.
