2019 is Rembrandt's year in which the 350th anniversary of the death of the famous artist is commemorated. On the occasion of the Year of Rembrandt, the new book ‘nijntje x rembrandt’ was made in collaboration with the Rijksmuseum. In the booklet we see the striking similarities between the works of Rembrandt and Dick Bruna. Because Bruna and Rembrandt both made people, animals and landscapes.
