Gispen model 404. Famous Piano lamp
Dimensions: Height 10,5 cm. Width 19,5 cm. Length 29 cm.
With E-14 fitting. The bracket has a matt nickel finish and a twined flex with switch and bakelite plug. Comes with a certificate.
This piano lamp is a very faithful reproduction after a original design by Gispen and Oud. Notice the rectangular "assembling blocks". Straight and round shapes are united in a well-considered way.
This model was - on the occasion of the marriage of Kamerlingh Onnes to T.M.E. Easton in 1927 - a gift by Oud.
Consequently taken into production by Gispen.
