A mathematical piece of art, based on the original of the artist Maurits Cornelis Escher (1898 - 1972):
Bird-fish, watercolor, inkt and a colour pencil on Japanese paper, 1938.
The planes are divided systematically, based on the rotation-parellellogram-system, in which Escher first started using a double motif. The birds and fish symbolise the two elements.
This sculpture looks great on a desk.
