This French Art Nouveau lamp belongs to the collection of Daum Frères, Nancy. Made according to the original moulds.
Elzasser Jean Daum bought a glass factory in Nancy in 1878. By settling in Lorraine, he choose an area with a historical tradition and renowned craftmenship when it comes to producing glass. From 1890, Daum began to commit to creating art objects and new techniques were tested. In 1901, Daum co-founded the pioneering School fo Nancy.
